Saturday welcomed the highly anticipated return of the Aspen Cooling Arena Eventing Championship, delivering a day of top-class competition, strong performances, and a vibrant atmosphere at Solihull Riding Club.
Under bright spring sunshine, competitors took to Mitch Costello’s exciting course with determination and skill, showcasing the culmination of months of preparation. Throughout the winter season, Solihull Riding Club hosted a series of qualifying events, with riders eagerly competing for their place in the championship finale.
This year’s championship featured a generous prize fund of £2,200, kindly supported by Aspen Cooling Ltd. Prizes were presented by Steve Morton, who was on hand to congratulate the riders on their achievements.

In addition to the championship classes, Aspen Cooling Ltd also generously sponsored an impressive £2,400 prize pot for the Arena Eventing Points League. The league rewarded consistent performance across all heights throughout the qualifying season, with points awarded based on placings.

Sophie Icke, winner of the Aspen Cooling Arena Eventing Points League, commented: “I really enjoyed the Arena Eventing series and thought it was very well organised.
