Solihull Riding Club were delighted to once again host the Area 5 and18 Combined Challenge Qualifier on Saturday, 16th May. It was a wonderful day
A huge thank you to all the officials and volunteers who helped make this event possible, it goes without saying that we wouldn’t have run without your support!
An extra special mention must go to our course builder Mitch Costello who made every effort to prepare the ground to perfection. The effort, and course design, was much appreciated by our fantastic competitors!
The Combined Challenge will test the ability and timing of a horse and rider to negotiate a show jumping course followed by a cross-country course. The course utilized our middle cross-country field showcasing the Aspen Cooling Ltd water complexes with 6 jumping efforts for the showjumping phase and 7 jumping efforts for the cross-country phase.
