Job Vacancy: Event Assistant and Administrator

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic & highly organised Event Assistant for Solihull Riding Club & Equestrian Centre. The role is for 6 months, however a permanent position may become available. You will be part of a focussed & motivated team, ensuring members & other customers have a great experience competing, training or just enjoying their horses at this long-established club. ​

We are looking for someone with:​

  • Great interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport​
  • Experience in (or a good understanding of) equestrian events​
  • Excellent team working skills​
  • Flexible approach to working hours & happy to work weekends​
  • A willingness to take on a wide range of activities to support our Event co-ordinators

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing a friendly, helpful and professional point of contact for enquiries (face to face, phone and email) on a day-to-day basis​
  • A range of administrative duties to support the smooth running of the Club​
  • Supporting the Event Co-ordinators & Grounds Team on show days to ensure competitors have a great experience
