It was an absolute pleasure for Solihull to host the Area 5, 18 and 20 Combined Challenge Qualifier on Sunday 4th May!
It was a really well attended day as we accommodated competitors from 3 areas – running from 8:30am until gone 7pm! A huge thank you to all of the help from officials and volunteers that went into the making of this event, it goes without saying that we wouldn’t have run without your support!
An extra special mention must go to our course builder Mitch Costello who made every effort to prepare the ground to perfection given the recent dry spell – slitting in the run up to the event and watering in the early hours. The effort, and course design, was much appreciated by our fantastic competitors! The course utilized our middle cross-country field showcasing the Aspen Cooling Ltd water complexes with 6 jumping efforts for the showjumping phase and 8 jumping efforts for the cross-country phase.
