We’re delighted to announce that we are investing in a new all weather surfaced loop extension to our Agria Outdoor Arena.
The new loop will make use of the two existing removable sides of the Agria Outdoor Arena, located on the far side and the right hand side bordering the grass cross country area.
The loop will start from the back of the arena at the existing removable side, slope down towards the grass cross country course and circle right towards our original water complex. It then travels back upwards to rejoin our outdoor arena at the second existing removable side.
The all weather loop will enable us to run more varied arena eventing competitions throughout the winter, with flexibility for additional cross country fences and incorporating our water complex. It will also weather-proof us for inclement conditions throughout the season, offering competitors more choice and less risk of cancellations.
The loop is being built by Midlands Horse Arenas, who have worked on various quality equestrian projects throughout the UK.
Ellie Spelman, Chairman of Solihull Riding Club’s Executive Committee, said: “We are thrilled to be able to bring this new all weather loop to Solihull Riding Club and add to our portfolio of facilities. We hope this investment will be hugely popular with our members and competitors looking to continue cross country jumping throughout the winter.”
Construction on the all weather loop has begun already, and we are hoping to have it completed and ready for use by the new year.
