Diddy ODE Cancelled 24th May but Running Combined Training Instead

Due to the three days of consistent heavy rainfall we have made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s Diddy One Day Event. We are however running combined training at the same heights and same dressage tests, just without the cross country element. There are still the same fabulous prizes to win!

It is incredibly disheartening to have to cancel our events due to prolonged poor weather, especially with the amount of organisation and work put in the weeks up to a competition, but our visitor and competitor safety is much more important.

If you would like to enter the next Diddy One Day Event, get your entry in for Sunday 8th June Diddy ODE!

Thank you,
The SRC Team

SRC Recent Member Successes

Congratulations to SRC member Chelsea Round riding Fleetwood Mac who won her section in the BE100 under 18 on Saturday at Aston le Walls and has now earned a place on the BE central region team. They will be competing at the championships in October at Weston Park International. Also she has qualified for the eventer derby at Blenheim in September! Finally And came 5th at Hambledon

Saturday’s British Eventing Competition Abandoned

It is with absolute regret that we have had to abandon all of Saturday’s (tomorrow) British Eventing competition due to the torrential rain on site yesterday. At present Sunday’s event is still going ahead but a final decision will be made by the officials at 5pm tomorrow.

We at Solihull Riding Club are however looking at possible dates in the near future to run an unaffiliated event for the 80cm and 90cm class to make up for tomorrow’s abandonment. More information coming soon.

Thank you for your understanding, from all at SRC.
